It’s all in the planning. Prior planning prevents poor performance. Beyond that, we have an in-house IT and Development
crew. This is extremely uncommon and it’s what allows us to deliver seamless (Often Plug and Play!) integrations with every
customer system / CRM / ERP you could imagine. Our continued investment into IT over the last 20 years is one of the critical
elements that allows us to deliver tier 1 3PL Fulfilment outcomes at competitive pricing. Beyond the initial integration – our clients
often have custom requirements that develop over time which we are able to support on an as-and-where-needed basis.
3PL Fulfilment cost models are complex by nature, unfortunately many 3PLs take advantage of this fact and deliver ‘bait
and switch’ pricing that can seem attractive based on 1 or 2 key prices (Pick and Pack, Freight, etc) but the true and total cost is
hidden. We have straightforward rate tariffs and provide mock invoices so prospective clients have full transparency of all charges
before they sign the dotted line. We believe that everyone should make a dollar, but no one should make two. In all of the markets
we operate in we are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive but for quality brands we repeatedly prove we deliver the
lowest total cost of ownership. A correctly priced 3PL Fulfilment Company with exceptional service, culture and technology will
ultimately deliver the highest value for a 3PL Fulfilment client, hence it’s our experience that quality brands will all eventually
gravitate to a price/service/culture/technology offer that matches ours.
Culture is the most important aspect. It’s all about the people, in our experience 3PL Fulfilment buyers never drill into this.
We spend an inordinate amount of time and money looking after our staff and claim the highest staff retention we’ve ever heard of
through a full-time wellness coach, wellness training, weekly career training, birthday off, hardship grants and flexi-time.
Technology + Systems + Quality Clients come next. Our extremely high IT and Development spend means we avoid manual
processes, the less time we consume and the less mistakes we make. We believe in working smarter and harder, not just harder.
This also means careful client selection – We cement excellent client relationships based on rapport and high quality
communication. Allowing a genuine partnership to develop rather than a client / service-provider relationship. We’re then able to
work as a team to deliver a high quality outcome. A 3PL Fulfilment Company that is at odds with its customer base will find it
impossible to achieve perfection.
We have a dedicated onboarding team which manages the initial transition from an incumbent facility all the way through
to steady-state. This means we have dedicated resource available to optimise the relationship. Depending on the complexity of
the project and customised solutions we’re delivering this can take anywhere from 2 – 6 months, the time-frame being irrelevant to
us. Our onboarding team will stay the course until we have delivered a steady-state solution as agreed at the beginning of the
engagement. Our onboarding team utilises an advanced workflow process and any non-compliance of an on-boarding task is
escalated to the Senior Leadership Team and CEO.
